Meet The Founder of Kate Elizabeth Events

I truly don’t remember the last time I wasn’t planning something. When I was a little girl I would invite my neighbors, young to elderly, to my parents home for events. Sometimes these events consisted of shows I created and other times they would be parties. Either way, I was artfully creating memories for those I loved. 

Hello, I’m Kate, the founder, lead planner and designer of Kate Elizabeth Events. There are few things I love more in this world than creating. I have always had a passion for beauty and classic elegance. From dancing and romantic piano pieces to gilded gold lettering and dainty pastries, I adore it all. 

It is the feminine aesthetic and old-world european romance I find myself most drawn to. I have found much of my inspiration throughout the years in elements of art, architecture and travel. These pieces stolen from moments in time create the collections that will adorn your wedding day.

As the daughter of a pilot, I have been given the opportunity to see many places and cultures around the world. I find so much joy in learning about the world and the history of the people of it. Incorporating experiences from my travels translates into lasting memories for the couples I have the pleasure of building relationships with. 

Lastly, I have an incredible husband who I absolutely adore. We have been married for six years and completed many projects and goals together. We love to travel, work on homes, and dream about our future farm. Anyone who knows me can’t wrap their head around me wanting a farm. I’m a bit of a germaphobe, but I just love animals and spending time in my yard. So if you have any knowledge of starting a farm, please feel free to share! The idea of living in the country and spending the days outside with my family and animals sounds perfect. I might be crazy – but working is my happy place. So a farm seems like a good fit (in addition to weddings, of course). Life is all about balance, right?!

I love, love, the wedding industry, and being a part of the beginning of lives shared with the ones held closest. I know that the passion my team and I have for this industry will make all the difference when it comes to creating your wedding day. Thank you for being here, I am so grateful.
