Today, Style Me Pretty’s featured our design work on their front page and we couldn’t be more excited! We’re honored to have a feature in a nationally recognized wedding publication and can’t wait to share some behind the scenes with you.
Everything we do at Kate Elizabeth Events has traditionally French-inspired wedding elements with elegant and timeless colors, patterns, and stunning Utah scenery. The specific inspiration for this shoot was everything “French Chateau.” We knew the La Caille Vineyard and Venue, located in Sandy, Utah was the state’s perfect little slice of French country. With room for only an intimate number of wedding guests, it was the perfect place to make our French-inspired wedding photoshoot come to life.
In the images below, you’ll see our French inspiration captured through Alexia Nilsen’s phenomenal film photography. She was able to capture so many beautiful moments of the day including a rice toss at the end of our couple’s “ceremony” and the peacocks roaming around La Caille’s vineyard and surrounding grounds.
Sweet Grace Floral’s flower installations around the Chateau enhanced the quaint French inspiration, making us feel as though we were walking around the French countryside.
The Wasatch mountains peaked over the tall vineyard trees to say hello to our La Caille wedding guests, and the sunlight cascaded down the beautiful cake made by the Ballerina Baker in Salt Lake City.
Our models, Chantell and Joel Robbins, matched the scene beautifully in her floor-length, strapless gown and his black tuxedo. For Chantell’s veil, we opted for something more traditional: something with a long cathedral length and embroidered lace details on the edges.
Keeping with traditional beauty, guests enjoyed a “cocktail hour,” ceremony, and “plated dinner,” all with personal touches contributed by many vendors, cultivated by Kate Elizabeth Events, and captured by Alexia.
To top everything off, the Oquirrh String Quartet played sweet melodies right outside La Caille’s French Chateau.
We hope you enjoy our French-inspired wedding shoot at La Caille as much as we did! For Style Me Pretty’s full feature, click here.
