Utah’s natural beauty is something to behold and the perfect setting for capturing amazing photos. From romantic mountain scenes to unique locations that can’t be found anywhere else, Utah has it all! So why not make a trip out of it, get inspired by its majestic outdoors and create something beautiful.

1. Thomas S. Monson Center

The Thomas S. Monson Center is a beautiful, Victorian style mansion located in the heart of Salt Lake City. The Victorian style, with its old-world romantic charm offers the perfect setting for photos. In the warmer months, you can capture the beautiful greenery and landscaping that surrounds this stunning property. Reservations and costs may be required for this venue location.

2. La Caille

It is hard to imagine a more picturesque setting than La Caille, a Romantic French inspired Estate and Vineyard. Based at the mouth of Little Cottonwood Canyon, the 22 acre property offers stunning garden and Vineyard landscapes surrounded by the iconic Wasatch Mountains.

3. Little Sahara Sand Dunes

This location is down on the West Side of Utah Lake. It takes about 2 hours to get there from Salt Lake, but it’s worth every minute! Be prepared for an entrance fee when you enter because it’s a State Park. The scenery doesn’t change too drastically with the seasons, so it’s a great year-round option! The white sand and the open desert landscapes make for the most breathtaking photos.

4. The Grand America

The Grand America hotel has an elegant ambiance that is perfect for photoshoots. With its beautiful Center Courtyard, and the hallways lined with crystal chandeliers this location is perfect to capture your love. Reservations and costs may be required for this venue location.

5. Tunnel Springs

A gorgeous hillside destination where you will be greeted to green rolling hills after walking on a quaint dirt path. Tunnel Springs gets green well before the mountains and is best to go between the months of March-May. During the warmer months the grass has gorgeous warm, golden color as well as large neutral weeds.

6. Little Cottonwood Canyon

One of the most famous spots to take photos in Utah is Albion Basin. You will find huge boulders, green fields and if you go during July or August then there are thousands upon thousands wildflowers that have yet to bloom!

7. The Utah State Capitol

The Utah State Capitol Building is a magnificent location in Salt Lake City for those wanting a romantic city vibe. This central location is perfect for those not wanting to venture too far from the city. During the months of April the trees surrounding the capitol will blossom making it a hot spot all around Utah.

8. Jordan Pines

Jordan Pines is the place to find a winter wonderland. You’ll be immersed in an evergreen forest that makes it feel like Christmas, from December until March! Or if you go in the warmer months it makes the most beautiful backdrop filled with greenery from the trees that surround it.

9. The Salt Flats

When you’re looking for a unique location to take your wedding photos, it doesn’t get more beautiful than The Salt Flats. This scenic area provides amazing views and distance from any major city so there will be no distractions or crowds when trying to capture those special moments with loved ones!

10. Solitude

The beautiful, towering mountains of Solitude are the perfect backdrop to take photos. The summer mountain wildflowers or crayon fall foliage make for stunning photos from June until October!
